Now you may be thinking there’s no way you have time during a weekday to soak bread in French toast batter and fry it up. Well, this easy French toast recipe doesn’t require eggs and milk and you don’t need a frying pan!

Instead, you just use your favorite gluten free raisin bread, a toaster, a little brown sugar and spice, and my personal favorite – I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!®

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 slices gluten free raisin bread, toasted
  • Real maple syrup


  1. Combine I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!®, brown sugar, and cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice in a bowl.
  2. Spread on hot bread.
  3. Cut bread in half and serve the French Toast with maple syrup.
