Saving money and calories with International Delight Light Iced Coffee #LightIcedCoffee

Save money with International Delight Light Iced CoffeeAfter an indulgent holiday season – both financially and calorically – I’m sure you’re trying to find low calorie, inexpensive treats. That’s why you should be on the lookout for International Delight Light Iced Coffee in the milk aisle of your favorite Walmart starting January 21st.

International Delight Light Iced Coffee comes in two flavors – mocha and vanilla. Both contain 100 calories per eight ounce serving and are low in sugar. Even better, for about the price of one iced drink at your favorite coffee shop, you can buy a half gallon container of International Delight Light Iced Coffee – eight drinks’ worth of creamy deliciousness! Not only is having International Delight in your refrigerator convenient – no having to brew coffee and add your favorite flavorings – but it saves you money, too!

I found both flavors delicious, creamy and just as good as anything I’d get at a restaurant or coffee shop. I really enjoyed having an iced coffee to sip along with my apple slices while I cook. Having a healthy snack while I prepare dinner for my family is a great way to avoid extra calories and nibbling away at dinner before it’s served!

Enjoying International Delight Light Iced Coffee

I can see indulging in a glass of International Delight Iced Coffee when you need a mid-afternoon boost. (I like having a glass when I get those pre-dinner munchies!) It’s also a convenient drink to serve when entertaining or at a breakfast meeting at work. But you can enjoy this iced coffee treat in other ways, too, such as:International Delight Light Iced Coffee side panel

Make iced coffee ice cubes! Pour International Delight Light Iced Coffee into ice cube trays and freeze. Use the frozen iced coffee in leftover, room temperature coffee. (I don’t know about your house, but after my husband leaves in the morning with his mug of hot coffee, I have half a pot leftover that I usually pour down the drain. Adding iced coffee ice cubes would be a great way to deliciously use that coffee while keeping the calories low!)

Make popsicles! Pour your favorite flavor of International Delight Iced Coffee into popsicle molds and freeze. Nothing like enjoying a cold frozen treat and not blowing your diet! And much cheaper than buying “diet” popsicles at the store.

Make a smoothie! Combine International Delight Iced Coffee and a handful of ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. You can also add fruit like strawberries or bananas for extra flavor. Add a few tablespoons of flax seed for a fiber boost, too!

Saving money with International Delight Light Iced Coffee

Think of all the money and time you’ll save NOT going to the coffee shop by having a container of International Delight Light Iced Coffee in the fridge at home or work. Plus having a low calorie, low sugar indulgence nearby without the temptations of the cake pops, muffins and brownies most of us cave into at the coffee shop. This means you’ll be sticking to your diet as well as your financial goals for 2013!
