If you have spinal stenosis, for example, extension exercises will have the effect of narrowing the spinal canal and intervertebral foraminae.  This will increase the liklihood of of spinal nerve root compression.  These exercises should be avoided until you have fully recovered.</description>

		<description>Sciatica can be one of the most painful things to experience - the only pain, for me, that was worse, was after my double-knee replacement surgery (and I&#039;ve had other surgeries as well as 3 casarians!).  But in the case of the replacement surgery, the pain medications helped more than for sciatica.

Thanks for posting this - I always fear having a reoccurence.
