In my answer to the Monthly Mouthful at the Chew on That Blog, I said that my foodie New Year’s Resolution was to have a more eco-friendly kitchen. One of the products I’m using that’s helping me achieve my green goal for 2009 is Preserve Kitchen products.
Preserve Kitchen features products made from 100% recycled #5 plastic (just like their toothbrushes, razors and tableware) and 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
Preserve sent me their small cutting board in “Ripe Tomato.” I’m all for plastic kitchen products made from recycled waste. I also loved the unique curved handle. It makes food transfer so much easier since you can easily grab on to it. For the same reason, clean up is a snap, plus you can place it to air dry on its handle edge. Even better, Preserve cutting boards are BPA free, made in the USA, and completely dishwasher safe.
