Chris, I won't be going over old recipes and changing the old POINTS into the new POINTS Plus. It's just too much work. Instead, try plugging the recipe into the calculator at caloriecount.com and then figuring out the POINTS Plus from there. Hope that helps!

TypePad HTML Email

Wow, Momentum has been in the US for almost a couple of years
now. You’ll love it when it gets to the UK. Good luck!

Thanks for this recipe, making it tomorrow! I am just in love with black beans and put them in everything for extra protein... what a great way to add fiber!

I attended my first meeting Saturday and by day 3 I have used 11 of my extra weekly choices. I have a lot to learn. But, neccesity is the mother of invention.

Here is a recipe for you to try if you are interested. This is one that I have made since I was a teen. It came from the Sunset Vegetarian cookbook.

Winter Minestrone Soup
1 medium onion
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp of the following Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme
1 baker sized potato, peeled
2 carrots scrubbed and sliced (not peeling preserves fiber)
4 cups water
4 chicken boullion cubes (or use fat free chicken boullion)
15 ounce red kidney beans
4 ounces whole wheat rotini pasta spirals
2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
3 cups cabbage shredded
cooking spray

Sautee onion in soup pot with spices until tender.
Add water boullion, carrots, potatoes, boil until potato just begins to be tender, stir in tomato sauce, and kidney beans and Whole wheat spiral pasta. Cook for reccomnded time on package. a few minutes before the time ends add cabbage.
Makes 13 cups
98 calories per 1 cup serving
5 grams of fiber
1 gram of fat
I figured the amounts using Master Cook 5
My figures say it is 2 points.
