Thanks to everyone who entered my contest to get five cups of yummy Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt to try out courtesy of Stonyfield Yogurt.
My winner is Gudrun of Kitchen Gadget Girl.
Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt has become so popular that you may have problems finding it at your local store this month. Stonyfield is switching to a larger production facility, which is causing the supply backup.
If you’d like to be notified when Oikos Greek yogurt is back at your store, sign up for an email alert and to get a free coupon from Stonyfield.
By the way, we used Oikos yogurt on our potato pancakes last night. (I found an about-to-expire supply at my local grocery discount store.) Not only was it delicious, it has none of the fillers of low-fat or no-fat sour cream. Any time a recipe calls for sour cream, I’ll be using plain, no fat Greek yogurt instead.

This is great news! I love Greek yogurt – I find the extra rich texture very satisfying, even when it is non-fat. I look forward to trying the new Stonyfield product.
Cheers!
Sorry i missed this contest. I’ve never tried Greek yogurt. Hear it’s healthy but i don’t know what maes it better then regular? I know more of the whey is removed…
It’s thicker than regular plain yogurt and since it’s no fat and tastes like sour cream, but is organic and has none of the fillers that no and low fat sour cream, it’s a wonderful healthy substitute.
I’m sorry I missed the contest as well, I love this yogurt. I’ve always found it difficult to find yogurt low in sugar so I can only eat yogurt when I cycle off of low carb… then yogurt is an every meal kinda thing. Thanks for the info, I like the blog.
