Week 16: How do I measure up?

Istock_000001550337xsmallThe song, or should I say, the scale remains the same…more or less. Since this is beyond frustrating, let’s look at some other numbers – waist, belly, hips and bodyfat percentage. That should get me motivated…I hope.

My bodyfat percentage in Week 1:

Using measurements of a 33.5 inches waist and weight of 159 pounds my body fat percentage is estimated to be 39.30 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 40.10 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

My stats in Week 16:

Waist size at narrowest point: 30"
Waist size at your naval: 33"
Hip size at widest point: 41"
Neck at narrowest point: 13.5"
Height: 5′ 3"
Weight: 151 lbs

Using measurements of a 30 inch waist and weight of 151 pounds my body fat percentage is estimated to be 32.82 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 31.66 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

Total body fat lost = 6.5% to 7.6%
Total weight loss = 10 pounds

Week 16 in review and challenges ahead

Too much going off the food plan. Not enough planning, especially on the day I was out of the house while I was waiting for the carpets to dry after being cleaned. Missed a couple of workouts – too busy writing. I did blog a lot and tried a new  Extreme Fat Smash Diet recipe. And my pants, underwear and shirts felt very loose, which was nice.

Challenges this week are going to several social events including a bacon themed party. I’m going to try to work out extra hard this week to offset the extra eating.

Hope your week went better than mine. Share below!
