I weighed in at 151 (a 1.8 pound weight loss) and have lost 10 pounds total. I also lost a couple of inches in my waist, an inch on my belly, and an inch around my hips.
Good news, right? Then why do I feel like I’m not doing well? For one thing, I keeping skirting around 150-152 pound mark, which is frustrating. Also, I’m sore as heck all over from this knee injury. It’s depressing and I’m feeling the need to not stick to the Extreme Fat Smash Diet and overindulge in food.
This Week’s Numbers
From the body fat estimator:
Waist size at narrowest point: 30"
Waist size at your naval: 33"
Hip size at widest point: 40"
Neck at narrowest point: 13.5"
Height: 5′ 3"
Weight: 151 lbs
Using your measurements of a 30 inch waist and weight of 151 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 31.57% using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 31.66% using the formula developed by the YMCA. Week one’s results were 39.30% using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 40.10% using Y’s formula. I’ve dropped 7% body fat so far.
I didn’t do too bad on my goals, either….
My Goals for Last Week:
FOOD: Stay on track with the Extreme Fat Smash Diet as prescribed on the Celebrity Fit Club website. That means advance planning, taking food with me, etc.
Did well planning, took food with me, but let my emotions get away with me a few times and overindulged or ate what I wanted.
WELLNESS: See the orthopedic surgeon on Monday.
Got my second opinion, which was "Get an MRI so we can figure this out." I had one on Friday and will go back this week to find out the results
EXERCISE: Still do at least 10 miles per day on the stationary bike.
Since I hiked up the resistance I sometimes did 9 miles in 45 or 10 miles in 53 minutes, if I had time. I exercised 5 out of 7 days.
EXERCISE: Do arm weights while on the stationary bike at least every other day.
I did this twice this week.
WELLNESS: Go to my massage therapist and dentist on Thursday.
Done! Look no cavities ma. And my gums are healthier than ever (no deep pockets). Must be all these veggies I’m eating.
KNOWLEDGE: Look into Dr. Mark Hyman’s book The UltraSimple Diet: Kick-Start Your Metabolism and Safely Lose Up to 10 Pounds in 7 Days. I’ve been having some lactose and gas issues (I know, TMI) and am looking for a way to detox my system. Since I may be purchasing it at Amazon, I’ll probably go ahead and finally get When Food Is Food & Love Is Love: A Step-by-Step Spiritual Program to Break Free from Emotional Eating
by Geneen Roth.
The books are ordered and on the way. I switched to soy milk, but I’m not sure that’s helping.
BLOGGING: Keep blogging Extreme Fat Smash Diet recipes at my blog. I have a backlog of recipes to share with my readers.
Next week, I swear. Now that the kids will be at school, I’ll have long blocks of time to get caught up on my recipe posts.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Check in with Tigerlilly and Carmen on Sunday.
Will do once I post this.

Well, it sounds to me like you are doing amazingly well!
They keep telling me if I get stuck somewhere to change something. Change your exercise routine or something about your eating plan. Worth a shot, I guess.
Some people don’t handle soy well either. If you aren’t allergic to nuts, vanilla almond milk is REALLY good. Vanilla rice milk is not bad either.
Sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope you get answers on your knees and they are feeling better soon!!
Congratulations on the 10 pounds!! WOOO!!!
