So much about planning when the muse calls. I spent most of the morning writing on my other blogs and helping a PR firm I work with give away the new Rolling Stones 4 DVD set, The Biggest Bang (check out my post on the contest and enter – having a Celebrity Fit Club blog makes you eligible!)
I didn’t get downstairs to work out until after 10 a.m., which meant breakfast wasn’t until 11:30 a.m. I know that’s just an invitation to overeat, but when the muse hits you gotta give it up and write. I’m happy to go with the flow, because it’s been awhile since I’ve wanted to sit down and do some blogging.
Otherwise, diet and exercise plan are going well. I’m having fun with the substitution meal choices. And bringing my lunch to the kids’ karate class worked out o.k. too (actually we were at DQ – the kids had their snack and I had my vegetarian chili.)
I have a couple challenges coming up this weekend – bunco tonight and going to my husband’s coworkers home for BBQ on Saturday. I’ll bring my own carrot and celery sticks to both, and I already told my bunco hostess that I’m bringing my own food and wine to share.
Since she’s also one of my Pampered Chef consultants, I was thrilled to tell her how well her products are helping me with the Extreme Fat Smash diet, like the cutting board with the built in measuring slots.
