Planning is so important

Boy, I’m not doing the planning thing as well as I would like (and this is from someone who plans everything to the ninth degree!) Yesterday, I had a egg white salad to make and I should have made the 5 hardboiled eggs when I was eating breakfast. Because I didn’t, I ending up eating lunch much later than I planned and got an ugly headache.

So now I’m trying to read the day’s recipes early (plan lunch’s meal during the meal #2 or breakfast and plan dinner’s at the afternoon snack).

Also, today I didn’t plan too well about meal #2 either. Instead of eating it 11 a.m. I ate it an hour later, which puts off lunch for a couple of hours. The problem is that I have to pre-plan around to fit the kids’ activities. If we’re going to be out and about, I need to bring the snack/meal with me.

So here’s the plan…work out, get dressed and have breakfast. Then during breakfast, plan when I have snacks around the day’s activities by writing a schedule down. Dr. Smith had a schedule in his Extreme Fat Smash Diet book and now I see why!
