I know that Aureole doesn't normally serve lunch, but this was a special for some of the foodies at the convention. The meal was (relatively) small (just three or four exquisite courses). I'm trying to find the menu but can't put my hands on it. That, in a nutshell, explains one of the reasons that I later added a "Dining Diary" to my website (www.claire-walter.com) -- to remind myself of what I ate where and when, and also to share it with other foodies. I ate lunch at Aureole during the 2005 Society of American Travel Writers Convention in Las Vegas.
