On a reading note, I was over at Barnes & Nobles University checking out the FREE online classes for July. And this is what I found:

I’m signing up for this one! Since I never have the time to do the coursework, I may just lurk. But it’ll give me an excuse to check out The Nasty Bits : Collected Varietal Cuts, Usable Trim, Scraps, and Bones from the library. I already have Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly
, which I read many years ago. I’ve also requested a copy of Typhoid Mary : An Urban Historical
from the library, which looks terribly interesting.
The one thing that I’ve always wondered about Anthony is how he can still taste food even though he’s a chain smoker. Maybe I’ll get a chance to ask him via email or online. Hmmmmmmm.
