Cake Fun with Lisa

It’s so nice when folks email me to let me know about their food blogs. Lisa from Cake Fun wrote in to promote herself, and let me tell you I’m just amazed at her blog. She’s found all sorts of great cake related pictures, trivia, books, and wild cake making ideas.

Now I don’t know if she actually has made any of these cakes, but her blog is a great resource for cake decoraters who aren’t satisified with the usually "cute kid’s birthday cake" ideas.

I love the Periodic Table of Cupcakes. Big Bad Dad’s a chemist so this is totally his type of thing. (Maybe I’ll make it for his next work party?) Lisa also features links to recipes for faux cakes, like this one for a Meatloaf Cake.
